what is Chester lights?
Join all of Chester in kicking off the holiday season with an evening of nostalgic lights, live music, and festive cheer. Stroll down Main Street to enjoy art, amazing shopping, and of course, some of the best dining and drinks around. Everyone will be open late, ready to make this the highlight of 2024!
when is it happening?
Friday, December 6th.
5pm - 8pm
At 5:30pm there will be the tree lighting at the Chester Wall. If you require parking, be sure to arrive at 4:30 as this is our busiest night of the year. Don’t worry though, all shops and restaurants will be open all day and until at least 8:00pm.
how can i help?
If you love Chester, we need your help with the finishing touches of this year’s event that make it so special. Whether it be holding a ladder or hanging a string of lights, all are welcome to help participate.

During Chester Lights, local shops, galleries, and restaurants will offer unique events, showcasing exclusive products, art exhibits, live music, and festive food and drink experiences, all designed to celebrate the season with the community.
Igniting Creativity, Education, & Community Through Live Theater
Join us at 5 PM in front of Lark, and then gather by the tree after the lighting ceremony. We can’t wait to celebrate together!
Blue Fire Stage Company brings people together through live theater, offering exceptional performances, educational workshops, and an apprenticeship program that provides hands-on training in all aspects of theatrical arts to enrich the community and make the arts accessible to all.
